Richard Lithgow’s original paintings reflect his reverence for the wild. “ I try to paint the textural variations of light and water in the woodland setting. I think I succeed when the interplay of sunlight on a rising trout or the glistening of a fish’s scales underwater are accentuated to capture action transfixed.”

Hours of research and keen observation along with an occasional cast upstream precede each work.

Original work usually goes directly to galleries but if you would like to discuss a commission please contact us. custserv@cenmarx.com
